Role Description

Key Account Manager


Duties &

Client Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with life science customers in the assigned territory.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, anticipating needs and ensuring timely delivery of solutions.
  • Resolve client issues promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.


Sales Strategy

  • Develop a deep understanding of the life science market, trends, and challenges to align solutions with client needs.
  • Formulate and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand market presence in the biotechnology sector.
  • Collaborate with distributors to identify, develop, and convert business opportunities.


Account Planning

  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement account plans that align with business objectives.
  • Track, evaluate, and report progress on account plans and the effectiveness of sales strategies.


Market Analysis & Forecasting

  • Monitor market performance, analyze metrics, and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.


Negotiation & Closure

  • Lead solution development to address customer needs effectively.
  • Coordinate internal resources to deliver tailored solutions and close deals successfully.


Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in the life science or biotechnology industry (Fine Chemicals preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
