Now we are looking for a Junior Tax Specialist in India & APAC, you will be a part of our Global Finance Team.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Junior Tax Specialist Within the assigned region, this individual will provide technical support to the reginal tax manager with respect to direct and indirect tax matters. The individual will work under close supervision of the reginal tax manager and will assist in various tax matters, including preparation of working papers for IFRS audit, review of accounts, provision of tax advice for business and support of tax matters relating to intercompany operations and transfer pricing.
Your Impact on the Mission:
With respect to direct and indirect income tax matters within the assigned region:
- Assist in preparing schedules, working papers, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits and tax authority assessments.
- Assist in quarterly and annual review of tax provisions and budget.
- To assist in the preparation, review, and maintenance of documentation and agreements related to cross charges and indirect tax compliance across India and APAC jurisdictions. The role will support by ensuring that all required documentation aligns with regulatory requirements and internal policies, aiding in smooth audit processes and compliance management.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and business teams to gather and validate required documentation, ensuring adherence to internal policies and statutory requirements.
- Assist in any other tax working paper and review work for regular tax checks in APAC and India.
What You’ll Bring to The Table – About You:
- 2–3 years of experience in Tax Department of Big 4 or multinational corporation
- Graduate-level degree in Tax, Finance, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Indian and APAC tax systems
- Good spoken and written English communication skills
- Experience with tax compliance and advisory for multinational companies (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
- Ability to handle tax filings, data extraction, and tax reporting processes
- Experience working with auditors and supporting tax audits
- Strong analytical, structured, and pragmatic thinking
- Quick learner with ability to communicate complex technical issues simply
- Good interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams and regions
