Junior Recruiter – Job Role & Responsibilities Job Role Overview A Junior Recruiter supports the hiring team in sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for various positions. They assist in the full recruitment cycle, ensuring smooth and timely hiring processes. --- Key Responsibilities 1. Candidate Sourcing Search and identify candidates through job portals, social media, and internal databases. Post job openings on various platforms. Build and maintain a basic talent pipeline for active roles. 2. Screening & Shortlisting Review resumes and shortlist suitable candidates. Conduct initial telephonic screening to evaluate basic skills and suitability. Forward qualified candidates to senior recruiters or hiring managers. 3. Interview Coordination Schedule interviews and follow up with candidates. Inform candidates about interview details, job roles, and company information. Coordinate with hiring managers for interview availability. 4. Data & Documentation Maintain candidate records and update the recruitment tracker or ATS system. Ensure proper documentation during the hiring process. Assist in background check and verification support. 5. Communication & Follow-up Keep candidates informed at every recruitment stage. Respond to queries from applicants in a timely and professional manner. Follow up with candidates for assessments, documents, and interview confirmations. 6. Offer & Onboarding Support Assist in preparing offer letters (if required). Help the HR team with joining formalities and onboarding tasks. Maintain communication with selected candidates to ensure smooth joining. 7. Team & Administrative Support Support senior recruiters and the hiring team with daily tasks. Attend team meetings, share updates, and provide reports. Assist in basic HR and recruitment administrative tasks.
