We are seeking for a Junior
Oracle Applications DBA to manage, support, and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite environments, particularly versions
12.1.x and
12.2.x. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge in Oracle database administration, application patching, cloning. This role requires minimum analytical skills, hands-on technical capabilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
Responsibilities will include :
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.1.x and R12.2.x) across development, test, and production environments.
- Perform cloning, patching, and upgrades of Oracle Applications and databases, including ADOP and online patching for 12.2.x.
- Manage application tier components including WebLogic Server, Forms/Reports, and Concurrent Managers.
- Performing regular health checks, database backups, and monitoring system performance to ensure optimal operation.
- Work closely with senior DBAs, developers, and functional consultants on live projects.
- Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Participate in system maintenance activities and scheduled downtimes.
Education: B.E in Computer science / M.C.A or equivalent
- Experience: 0-1 year of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA with hands-on expertise in EBS 12.1.x and 12.2.x
- Minimum knowledge of Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c, RAC, ASM, RMAN, and Data Guard
- Knowledge on ADOP, WebLogic Server, and online patching in 12.2.x
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
- Knowledge on cloning, patching, performance tuning, and concurrent processing
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Summary of skill sets requirement

- Document all configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide on-call support and participate in scheduled maintenance windows.
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications: Good communication skills and positive attitude
- Internship or academic project experience with Oracle DB, SQL, or ERP systems.
- Exposure to shell scripting or cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, Azure).
- Oracle-related coursework or certifications (e.g., Oracle Database Foundations).
