Job Description

1.Ensure the implementation of the EHS management system and norms as per the IMS and EHS manual, respectively.

2. Identify the Electrical Safety training needs, designing and imparting training for staff, visitor, sub-contractor, and workmen.

3. Monitor the evaluation of compliance to legal requirements ie., IE Rules

4. Conducting periodical site Electrical Safety inspections & report the finding for corrective action.

5. Review & appraise the site Electrical Safety performance and facilitate for improvement.

6. Ensure the proactive performance monitoring through systems such as key performance indicator on Electrical Safety

7. Organize campaigns, competitions & other special emphasis programs to promote Electrical Safety at workplace

8. Responsible and accountable for the performance of Site Electrical Safety

9.. Co-ordinate the Risk Assessment exercises in their respective area along with Engineer in-charge in preparation of Safe Work Methods for all electrical activities. Appraise the status to EHS in-charge for updating project Electrical Risk

10. Conducting investigation of all incidents & initiate necessary corrective actions at sites.

11. Analyze incident trends & initiate necessary corrective actions at sites.

12. Act as a catalyst for establishing, implementing & maintaining emergency preparedness and response procedure at project sites.

13. Reporting the site EHS performance.

14. Prepare SLD-Single Line Diagram and create awareness to all employees

15. Conduct Electrical Safety inspections as per monthly schedule.

16. Prepare and sent to weekly & monthly report to CSM

17. Verify the quality of Electrical Distribution Boards and all electrical installation and ensure meeting IS Standards
