Job Description

The role will be liaise with the General Manager in the preparation of the production program. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be required to ensure that the Integra production processes are carried out to the specified workmanship standards and the completion of the quality document and also liaise with customers on business related matters.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for day to day planning of raw materials, consumables, man-power and other resources to achieve production targets.
  • Responsible for preparation of estimates and quotations for various Integra jobs.
  • Design process improvements, new processes, optimise operations and effectively launch and implement various operations for the company.
  • To promote Lean Manufacturing techniques which include but not limited to OEE, 5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Visual Management etc
  • Promote team work, increase productivity of the team by managing individual and team performance expectations and goals.
  • Ensure that we are delivering an excellent customer experience through effective customer interaction, innovative solutions, in-process quality systems and address escalated customer concerns as necessary.
  • Responsible for inventory control and effective management of resources.
  • Responsible for safety on site.
  • Periodic conduct of internal audits to assess the efficiency of systems and initiate corrective measures for achieving organisational objectives and ISO standards.
  • Responsible for managing all maintenance activities which includes but not limited to autonomous maintenance, preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance.
  • Undertake any other related jobs or tasks assigned to you by your superior from time to time.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Able to work in a busy and complex environment with the ability to remain calm when under pressure.
  • Good Leadership skills (able to organise and control workforce).
  • Able interact with internal and external customers at all levels.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to visit Customers, some national travel may be required.
  • Proficient in MS Office etc and working knowledge in AUTOCAD.
  • Technical qualification in Welding Engineering.
  • Good practical knowledge in both Welding engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering and Management of people
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills as we'll as excellent written and spoken English.
  • A strong team player with the ability to work with multidisciplinary and multicultural groups, and also be able to pursue work independently using their own initiative
