Job Description

Job Title: Junior Java Developer Experience Level: Entry-Level / 0–2 Years Experience Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Java Developer to join our development team. As a Junior Developer, you will assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing Java-based applications. You will work closely with senior developers and project managers to support various software development tasks and contribute to the overall success of our technical initiatives. Key Responsibilities Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Java applications Write clean, scalable, and efficient code Participate in code reviews and follow best software development practices Debug and resolve software defects and issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UX/UI designers, and DevOps Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality Document code and development processes Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Java development Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming concepts Familiarity with Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) Version control experience using Git Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Internship or project experience in Java development Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle Basic understanding of CI/CD tools and processes Show more Show less
