Surge Lion Media is a fast-growing paid media agency that partners with D2C brands. We combine sharp creative strategy, paid media expertise, and performance-driven systems to help brands scale globally. As we expand, we’re investing in building a strong HR foundation to ensure smooth operations, culture, and team growth.


Role Overview


Junior HR Intern


This isn’t a coffee-fetching internship, you’ll be working directly with leadership, handling real responsibilities, and shaping how our agency runs.

1. Systems & SOPs

  • Assist in documenting and maintaining HR processes, policies, and SOPs
  • Help track project management and workload distribution across teams
  • Support leadership in ensuring systems are being followed


2. Hiring & Onboarding

  • Draft JDs, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews
  • Conduct HR intro calls with shortlisted candidates
  • Support in onboarding and induction of new hires


3. Compensation & Workload Assessment

  • Assist leadership in researching and benchmarking fair pay structures
  • Maintain payroll inputs, attendance, and leave trackers
  • Support in workload balancing across teams


4. Employee Relations & Culture

  • Gather employee feedback regularly through structured conversations
  • Help in planning team events, bonding activities, and check-ins
  • Ensure smooth communication between leadership and employees


5. Day-to-Day Operations

  • Maintain HR dashboards, trackers, and reports
  • Support performance review processes
  • Ensure smooth HR operations and issue resolution


Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR / Business / Psychology (preferred but not mandatory)
  • ~1–2 years of HR-related internship or work experience
  • Strong documentation and process orientation
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Interest in growing into a full-time HR role in a fast-paced agency
