Serving industries such as fintech, e-commerce, iGaming, and healthcare technology, LvlUp Labz is expanding its engineering team to work on exciting projects, including a real-time exchange platform for an international iGaming client, alongside fintech applications and SaaS solutions.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Full-Stack Developer located in Mumbai. You'll work on real production features from day one, building both frontend UI components and backend APIs for a iGaming platform. This is a high-learning, high-impact role where you'll grow rapidly by working alongside experienced developers on challenging technical problems.

What You'll Do

- Build UI components using React and Next.js (market displays, user dashboards)

- Develop REST APIs using Node.js and Express for various platform features

- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and WebSocket connections

- Write automated tests and participate in code reviews to maintain quality

- Debug and fix issues across the full technology stack

- Learn real-time systems, microservices architecture, and cloud deployment practices

- Pair program with senior developers on complex features and challenging problems

- Ship production code weekly and contribute to sprint deliverables

- Stay up-to-date with modern development practices and continuously improve skills

Work Style

We practice "Vibe Coding"—using AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) as part of our daily workflow. You'll learn how to leverage AI assistants to be more productive, write better code, and solve problems faster. This is a key skill for modern developers.

Qualifications

Required:

- 1-2 years of professional development experience (or strong bootcamp/project portfolio)

- Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals

- React basics (components, hooks, props, state management)

- Node.js/Express basics (REST APIs, async/await, error handling)

- HTML, CSS, and responsive web design principles

- Git workflows (branches, pull requests, merges, conflicts)

- Debugging skills using Chrome DevTools and VS Code debugger

- Eagerness to learn new technologies and comfortable working with ambiguity

- Good communication skills and team collaboration mindset

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have:

- Personal projects or open-source contributions (strong GitHub portfolio)

- Next.js or modern React framework experience

- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or database experience

- Real-time features experience (WebSocket, live updates, event streaming)

- TypeScript beyond basics

- Understanding of iGaming, or fintech platforms
