Position Summary -

This role executes the design and art strategy to be in line with the editorial strategy set by the Art Director.

Areas of Responsibility (Key Result Areas)

• Responsible for conceptualization, design and production of Print Layouts and Digital collaterals including newsletters, web sites, digital/social media creatives, web banners, and promotional campaigns.
• Should be good at photo research, image selections, sourcing and curating imagery.
• Responsible for delivering real time designs relevant to social media platforms which engages the audience (facebook, twitter, instagram, etc)
• Create superior, original designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts for the web.
• Confer with the Editorial and Marketing team to discuss and determine visuals and layout design
• Provide creative support for shoots, visual presentations and other ad hoc requests

Functional Competencies:

• Proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Corel Draw, Illustrator,
• Basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere
• Technical knowledge of web-based technologies such as Abode, HTML, Flash
• Strong knowledge of current industry trend

Required Qualification - Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Arts

Relevant Work Experience: 1 - 3 years of relevant experience
