Job Title: Junior Design Engineer

Location: Sasewadi,Tal. Bhor, Dist. Pune – 412205, Maharashtra

Work Timings: Monday – Saturday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Weekly off: Sunday)

Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Design Engineer to join our team. The role involves preparing and updating technical drawings, supporting new product development, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate product execution. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare assembly drawings, part drawings, and related documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Update and revise drawings based on engineering changes, maintaining nomenclature consistency.
• Upload and manage drawing records in the ERP system.
• Support new product development activities including concept generation and prototype validation.
• Coordinate with suppliers for prototype manufacturing to ensure quality and design accuracy.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and purchase teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, specifications, and quality guidelines.
• Provide technical support for projects and participate in improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks).
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks.

Experience

• 1–5 years of relevant experience in an Engineering/Manufacturing company preferred.
