Junior Backend Software Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Backend Engineer to join one of our cross-functional product squads. You will work alongside experienced engineers to build and maintain backend services and data-driven applications. This is a hands-on development role focused on growing your skills in a collaborative, GenAI-driven engineering culture.

Core Responsibilities

·        Develop and maintain scalable backend services using C# (.NET Core) and Python.

·        Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate APIs and deliver end-to-end solutions.

·        Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to our internal APIs and tools.

·        Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint planning.

·        Leverage GenAI tools for code generation, test writing, and productivity acceleration.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and deliver product requirements.

·        Document software components clearly and contribute to shared knowledge.

·        Embrace a learning mind-set and seek feedback to grow your engineering skills.

·        Contribute to our inclusive and collaborative team culture.

·        Take initiative and be open to new technologies and techniques.

Must-Have Technical Skills

·        1+ years of experience in C# and .NET Core for backend development.

·        1+ years of hands-on experience with Python.

·        Awareness or hands-on experience with AI agentic tools such as Langchain, Claude, Hugging Face, CursorAI.

Nice-to-Have

·        Familiarity with microservices architecture.

·        Experience with MongoDB or other database technologies.

·        Previous exposure to the Fintech industry or other regulated domains.

·        Understanding of DevOps or CI/CD practices..

Non-Technical Skills

·        Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a cross-functional team.

·        Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented attitude.

·        Willingness to learn, ask questions, and contribute ideas.
