C and .NET Core Software Engineer

This role involves building, managing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that align with defined business requirements. As a key member of a product engineering squad, you will be responsible for delivering product goals while ensuring the operational efficiency of the products and services, meeting service level objectives, and adhering to the roadmap commitments. You will collaborate closely with your squad to develop top-notch software solutions that support business objectives. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient back-end services using C# and .NET Core. Furthermore, you will be involved in building and integrating RESTful APIs to facilitate front-end and third-party services within a microservices architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability. Participating in code reviews, pair programming, and engaging in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and retrospectives will be part of your routine tasks. Continuous learning, seeking feedback from senior team members, and assisting in testing, debugging, and documentation of software features are essential aspects of the role. Additionally, you will learn and contribute to the monitoring and support of production systems, fostering a learning mindset to enhance your engineering skills. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in C# and .NET Core backend development, along with a strong background in RESTful API design and integration, understanding of microservices architecture, and familiarity with database technologies like MongoDB. Exposure to AI agentic tools such as Langchain, Claude, Hugging Face, CursorAI, and Agile methodologies is crucial. Excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn and contribute ideas are key attributes for success in this role. Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with ReactJS for front-end development, experience in Agile teams and cross-functional environments, exposure to cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS, and previous experience in the Fintech industry or other regulated domains.
