Junior Art Director

We are seeking a creative and conceptually strong Junior Art Director to join our dynamic team. If you are passionate about developing compelling visual concepts, possess a strong creative vision, are proactive, and understand how to bring brand stories to life across various media, including video – this role is for you.

Experience Required: 1-3 Years

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the design concepts for various online and offline creative assets, ensuring both conceptual strength and brand alignment.
• Guide the visual execution of projects and collaborating with external partners.
• Conceptualise and provide direction for video content; basic hands-on editing and animation skills are a strong advantage.
• Act as a key guardian for brand guidelines and aesthetics, ensuring consistency across all visual touchpoints.
• Collaborate effectively with marketing, business teams, and other creatives to align visual strategy with project goals and briefs.
• Present visual concepts and design rationale to internal stakeholders.
• Stay updated on design trends, particularly within the digital and luxury spaces.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design software is essential (Adobe Creative Suite). Familiarity with CorelDraw and basic HTML is beneficial.
• Prior experience or a strong understanding of the luxury business space would be highly preferred.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from any stream, along with relevant education in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience, typically progressing from a graphic design role (experience in a luxury business is preferred).
• A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, visual storytelling, and high-quality design execution across various media (print, digital, social, potentially video).
• Proficiency with required design and publishing tools, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. Experience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects) is a significant plus.
• A keen eye for visual composition, typography, colour theory, and detail.
• Effective time management, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Good communication and presentation skills to articulate creative concepts.
• Solid understanding of marketing principles, branding, production processes, website and digital design fundamentals, corporate identity, advertising standards, e-mailer design, social media visual strategy, and video creation principles.
