Job Overview

As a Junior Architect, you will assist in the design, drafting, and development of architectural projects. You will work closely with Senior Architects, Project Managers, and other team members to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality designs. Key Responsibilities

• Design and Drafting

  :
• Assist in creating design concepts and architectural plans under the supervision of Senior Architects.
• Develop detailed drawings and 3D models using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
• Prepare visual presentations and conceptual sketches to communicate design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
• Participate in the design development process, refining architectural concepts into executable plans.

• Project Support

  :
• Support Senior Architects and Project Managers in all stages of the project, including conceptual design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of technical drawings, specifications, and construction details.
• Ensure that designs are in compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
• Help manage the project schedule by keeping track of timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Research and Analysis

  :
• Conduct research on building materials, systems, and construction methods to support the design process.
• Assist in evaluating site conditions and providing recommendations for design strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with architectural trends, technologies, and sustainability practices.

• Collaboration and Communication

  :
• Work closely with other architects, engineers, and designers to ensure project goals are met.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas and solutions.
• Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

• Construction Support

  :
• Assist with site visits to monitor the construction process, ensuring designs are executed according to plans and specifications.
• Help prepare documentation for permits and approvals, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Assist in addressing any design or construction issues that arise during the building process.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education

  :
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

• Experience

  :
• 0-3 years of experience in architectural practice, including internships or previous roles as an Architectural Assistant.
• Experience working with design software such as

  AutoCAD

  ,

  Revit

  ,

  SketchUp

  , or similar tools.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, including academic and any prior work experience.

• Technical Skills

• Proficient in

  AutoCAD

  Adobe Creative Suite

  (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Familiarity with

  BIM

• Ability to conceptualize and develop creative design solutions.
• Strong skills in creating visual presentations, including sketches, diagrams, and 3D models.
• Proficiency in rendering software to create photorealistic images of architectural designs.
