Junior Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities of a Sales accountant:

• Record and process all sales-related financial transactions, including sales

invoices, credit notes, and sales returns.

• Manage accounts receivable, including monitoring customer payments,

preparing aging reports, and following up on overdue accounts.

• Reconcile sales accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze sales reports, including sales performance by product,

region, and salesperson.

• Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial closing activities

related to sales.

• Track and report on key sales metrics and KPIs, such as revenue, profit

margins etc

• Act as a financial point of contact for the sales team and clients, addressing

inquiries related to invoices, payments, and financial terms.

• Collaborate with the sales team to ensure all sales contracts and agreements

are financially sound and compliant with company policies.

• Process and monitor customer orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantity,

and delivery terms.

• Handle customer complaints or disputes related to financial matters, providing

timely and effective solutions.

• Ensure all sales transactions comply with accounting standards and

regulatory requirements.

• Monitor and manage sales-related taxes
• Develop and implement internal controls and best practices to improve the

efficiency and accuracy of sales accounting processes

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the sales and

accounting workflow.
Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with the finance department to provide sales data for budgeting

and forecasting.

• Communicate regularly with the Chief Accountant to report on sales

performance and financial health.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Working as an accountant in sales department : 3 years (Required)
• Using Tally Prime software: 3 years (Required)
