Position Overview:

As a Junior Accountant, you will assist with the day-to-day financial operations of the company. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting monthly and yearly closing activities. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including bookkeeping and general ledger activities.

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.

- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate matching of transactions.

- Support the monthly closing process by preparing necessary journal entries and reports.

- Assist with inventory accounting and valuation, ensuring that jewelry and raw materials are accurately recorded.

- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reports for management.

- Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review.

- Assist with the preparation of tax filings and compliance documents.

- Support audits by providing required documentation and responding to inquiries.

- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information as needed.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in retail or the jewelry industry.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

-Experience in GST and TDS return completion is preferred.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
