Junior Accountant

About Us:

We are a leading Railway Construction company engaged in execution of major infrastructure projects such as bridges, road overbridges, track works, and allied civil construction. To support our growing operations, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounts, vouchers, and ledgers.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, reconciliation of vendor & client accounts.
• Assist in preparation of bills, invoices, and supporting documents for Railway contracts.
• Manage petty cash, site expenses, and project-related accounting.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, and assist in statutory compliance.
• Monitor and record store inventory movements (materials, consumables, equipment).
• Coordinate with site engineers for purchase requirements, raise purchase orders, and track delivery of materials.
• Maintain stock registers and reconcile physical stock with accounting records.
• Support senior accountant in preparation of MIS reports, GST returns, and audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (B.Com / M.Com).
• 2 to 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a construction or infrastructure company.
• Good knowledge of Tally ERP, MS Excel, and basic accounting principles.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements will be an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
