QA/QC Civil Engineer

Position: QA/QC Civil Engineer – Soil Testing / Earthwork (Railway Projects)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and supervise soil classification tests (grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, Proctor compaction, CBR, etc.)
• Implement and monitor QC procedures in the field and lab, ensuring compliance with project specifications and codes
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and client representatives regarding non-conformances, corrective actions, and quality documentation
• Validate field density/compaction testing results and submission of test reports
• Assist in preparing project quality plans, inspection checkpoints, audit participation, and site inspections

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (preferably with specialization or hands-on exposure in geotechnical/soil mechanics)
• Prior experience in QA/QC roles in large civil infrastructure or railway projects, ideally with earthwork exposure
• Familiar with standard laboratory and field test equipment and procedures for soil investigations
• Good communication, documentation, audit support, and coordination skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
