Junior Accountant

A junior accountant's duties include handling data entry, processing invoices, and maintaining accounts payable and receivable. They also assist with preparing financial reports, reconciling bank statements, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes. Key responsibilities also involve assisting with audits, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations under the guidance of senior accountants. Core duties

• Data and record keeping:
• Record and summarize financial transactions by posting journal entries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Maintain the general ledger accounts and fixed assets.
• Accounts payable and receivable:
• Process accounts payable invoices and payments.
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
• Resolve billing discrepancies with vendors.
• Bank and ledger reconciliation:
• Perform monthly and quarterly bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Resolve any discrepancies found during reconciliation.
• Financial reporting and analysis:
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends or irregularities.
• Compliance and audits:
• Assist with both internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Help prepare and file tax returns and other compliance reports.
• Other tasks:
• Assist with payroll processing.
• Support budget preparation and financial planning.
• Help senior accountants with various projects and ad hoc tasks.
• Maintain the confidentiality of financial information.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
