Driver

A driver's primary duties are to safely transport people or goods while adhering to all traffic laws, performing vehicle maintenance, and maintaining accurate records. Key responsibilities include obeying road signs, operating the vehicle defensively, planning efficient routes, and ensuring the vehicle is clean and well-maintained. They must also be professional and courteous to clients and passengers. Safe and legal operation

• Follow all traffic laws, signs, and signals.
• Drive defensively and remain attentive and focused.
• Ensure the vehicle has enough fuel for the trip.
• Respect other road users, including pedestrians and cyclists.
• Never drive under the influence of alcohol.

Vehicle maintenance

• Perform routine safety inspections and maintenance checks.
• Conduct basic maintenance tasks like checking oil, tire pressure, and other fluids.
• Keep the vehicle's exterior and interior clean and presentable.
• Inform management of any mechanical issues promptly.

Transportation and logistics

• Safely transport people or goods to their destinations efficiently and on time.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes, using GPS and knowledge of the area.
• Load and unload cargo or baggage, ensuring safe handling and secure storage.
• Assist passengers as needed, such as opening doors.

Administration and communication

• Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Keep required documentation, such as logs or delivery reports, up to date.
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, or clients regarding delivery status or issues.
• Collect payments and provide receipts when necessary.
