Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GST filing, bookkeeping, accounts reconciliation, and Tally Prime. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and assisting the senior finance team in monthly and annual closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily bookkeeping activities including sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries.
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual filings) accurately and on time.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoice entries, and payment follow-ups.
Perform bank reconciliation, supplier reconciliation, and customer ledger verification.
Maintain proper documentation for statutory compliance and audits.
Prepare and update MIS reports, stock reports, and financial summaries as required.
Assist in monthly closing activities, provisioning, and maintaining financial records.
Operate efficiently on Tally Prime for all accounting tasks.
Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers for accounting clarifications.
Support senior accountants and management with any additional finance-related tasks.
