Junior Accountant

1.General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the general ledger, recording daily financial transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense entries.

2. Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions in accounting systems.

3. Financial Reporting: Help in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

4. Invoice Processing: Process invoices for accounts payable and ensure payments are made on time. Reconcile discrepancies between purchase orders and supplier invoices.

5. Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling company bank accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

6. Tax Preparation: Assist in preparing and filing taxes, and ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations.

7. Data Entry: Enter financial data into the accounting system with accuracy and attention to detail.

8. Support Audits: Assist with both internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documents and reports.

9. Payroll Assistance: Support payroll processing by calculating salaries, deductions, and benefits.

10. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure adherence to internal accounting policies and external regulations, including compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
