Job Description

As an Accountant at Akinex Global Supplies, you will play a crucial role in managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the Senior Accountant in various financial tasks. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key in reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts. Additionally, you will assist in financial reporting, audits, and budget monitoring. Key Responsibilities: - Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system. - Maintain up-to-date accounts and financial documents. - Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts regularly. - Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Provide financial data to support management decision-making. - Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations. - Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation. - Track and categorize company expenses for accurate financial reporting. - Monitor budgets and assist in preparing financial forecasts. - Support the Senior Accountant in ad-hoc financial projects. - Stay updated on accounting best practices and financial software developments. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 2-5 years of accounting experience, including internships. - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or SAP. - Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance. - Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
