Position: Jr. Structural Design Engineer (Full-Time, On-Site – Ahmedabad)

Junior Structural Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the
structural analysis and design
of residential buildings using wood, CMU, LGMF, and aluminum systems
Prepare and revise detailed
structural drawings and documentation
in AutoCAD and Revit
Perform structural calculations and develop
engineering reports and technical documents
Collaborate with architectural, MEP, and construction teams to ensure seamless design integration
Ensure all designs adhere to applicable
US building codes and standards
, including IBC, IRC, CBC, ACI, AISC, and other relevant guidelines
Participate in quality control reviews, coordination meetings, and design revisions
Support senior engineers and project managers throughout various stages of project delivery

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in
Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering
, or a related discipline
Solid foundation in
structural analysis and engineering principles
Hands-on experience with
AutoCAD
and
Revit
, as well as structural design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, RISA, or STAAD)
Familiarity with
US codes and standards
: IBC (International Building Code), IRC (International Residential Code), CBC (California Building Code), ACI (American Concrete Institute), AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction), and general
U.S. residential building practices
Strong
analytical thinking
and
problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Experience in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and managing design documentation is a plus
