Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Jr. Sous Chef to join our team in the Hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will have 8-25 years of experience in a similar role.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance culinary offerings.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
Conduct quality control checks on food presentation, taste, and portioning.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen environment.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members to improve their skills and knowledge.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Jr. Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable establishment.
Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with inventory management and cost control measures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
