Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Sous Chef specializing in Continental Cuisine, based in Goa, India. The Junior Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in kitchen operations, food preparation, and plating. Key responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, maintaining high culinary standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and contributing to menu development with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The role emphasizes creativity, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes that align with the resort's sustainable and ingredient-driven philosophy.

• Experience in Continental Cuisine and culinary skills
• Knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations
• Ability to supervise kitchen staff and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Creativity and innovation in menu development with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Relevant culinary degree or certification
• Experience in an eco-resort or sustainable kitchen is a plus
