Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef specializing in Italian cuisine, located in Goa, India. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including preparing and cooking dishes, overseeing kitchen staff, ensuring high food quality, and maintaining hygiene standards. Duties also include menu planning, inventory management, and ensuring the use of seasonal and local ingredients to create authentic and sustainable culinary experiences. Qualifications Proficiency in Italian cuisine, including traditional and contemporary techniques Experience in kitchen operations, food preparation, and cooking Management skills to supervise and train kitchen staff Menu planning and inventory management experience Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and quality standards Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities A passion for sustainable and ingredient-driven cuisine Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable Show more Show less
