Jr. Design Engineer

Job Summary:

The Junior Design Engineer (Electrical) will be responsible for assisting in the design, preparation, and development of electrical system drawings using EPLAN P8 and AutoCAD. The role involves working with PLCs, drives, and control panels, troubleshooting design-related issues, and coordinating with the team to ensure timely completion of projects and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and modify electrical circuit diagrams, panel layouts, and wiring drawings using EPLAN P8 and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Work on PLC and Drive-based system designs, including component selection and wiring details.
• Review and verify electrical drawings for accuracy, compliance, and functionality.
• Identify errors or issues in electrical designs and propose effective technical solutions.
• Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOMs), load calculations, and documentation for project handover.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and project teams to ensure design clarity and smooth execution.
• Support the senior design engineers in developing new system designs and standard templates.
• Maintain version control and documentation as per company procedures.
• Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards, codes, and company policies during design.
• Participate in project review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge in EPLAN P8 and AutoCAD Electrical.
• Basic understanding of PLC programming concepts and drive integration.
• Good knowledge of electrical components, control systems, and circuit design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Effective team coordination and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within project timelines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
