Job Description

Daily Accounting Entries

Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments, receipts) in accounting software (e.g. Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).
Maintain accurate journal entries and ledgers.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

Assist in managing invoices from suppliers (AP) and customers (AR).
Follow up on outstanding payments and update collections.
Process vendor payments, prepare cheques, or initiate bank transfers.

3. Bank Reconciliation

Perform monthly bank reconciliation to match books with bank statements.
Identify and resolve discrepancies.

4. Assisting in Financial Reporting

Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Assist senior accountants in closing books at month-end.

5. Taxation Support

Help in preparing GST, TDS, or VAT reports/returns.
Maintain records for tax audits and assist with compliance filings.

6. Petty Cash & Expense Tracking

Manage petty cash transactions and maintain accurate logs.
Record and verify employee expense claims and reimbursements.

7. Data Entry & Documentation

Maintain well-organized accounting files, bills, receipts, vouchers, and digital records.
Ensure data accuracy and completeness.

8. Internal Audits & Compliance

Assist in internal or external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.

9. Inventory & Asset Records (if applicable)

Help track company inventory movement and stock adjustments.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation records.

10. Support to Senior Accountant or Finance Manager

Perform tasks as assigned by the Senior Accountant, Accounts Manager, or Finance Head.
Learn and grow by observing and assisting with more complex tasks over time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,843.11 - ₹25,475.26 per month
