Experience of 5 years, Experience of working in construction of high-rise building Must have worked for min 03 years on Housing Projects Should be available at site during execution of work Supervision of all construction activities Construction supervision including, but not limited to, Water Supply and drainage System, Infrastructural Development like Roads, Pathways, and Street Lights, Landscape and Beautification Works etc Shall physically verify all dimensions of site and ensure that they are as per approved drawings Discrepancies shall be notified to the Employer/Engineer in charge/Architect/ relevant stakeholder immediately Shall be responsible to maintain the dimension at site as per the approved drawings Shall be responsible for overall monitoring of the construction by the Developer Checking all the work completed by the developer at site with respect to approved drawings and to certify the accuracy If in case, it is necessary to take measurements at site and record and finalize, the SITE ENGINEER shall also do so to make timely payment for the works done If measurements are not submitted by the developer, the SITE ENGINEER shall take measurements jointly with developer s representative, record them in measurement books (MBs) directed by Employer and obtain developer s signature in token of acceptance & prepare bills Hidden measurements, which cannot be recorded after completion shall be recorded before covering up the work On completion of work, the SITE ENGINEER shall have the responsibility to finalize and certify all the works as per actual execution The SITE ENGINEER should settle the final bill measurement immediately as per bid after completion of Project after complete rectification of notified defects by developer Shall be responsible to verify day to day consumption of cement in the work and shall see that the cement used in work is as per the theoretical requirement Shall preserve field books and measurement books by completion of project or as advised by Employer/Engineer-in-charge /Architect / Consultant Supervision of construction activities, preparation & certification of bills Shall scrutinize bills of agencies after recording measurements in MB s and recommend payment to agencies by preparing final bills, as per direction of Engineer-in Charge/Employer/Architect / Consultant Keep a check on the operating staff so as to ensure that all the systems are operated to the satisfactory level Supervision/ monitor works for conformity with quality, good workmanship, line, levels etc and provide total supervision of works Co-ordinate with agencies to ensure all the works progress in a systematic, synchronized and time bound manner Conduct daily site meeting to sort-out the bottlenecks holding the progress Interact daily with respective UDA/ULBs/ implementing agencies/ contractors on all matters related to execution (ie, site condition, progress of various components with respect to timeline, highlight the issues, planning of the execution, status of pending approvals NoCs, requirement of fund, extra/ excess/ savings of the components, etc ) including submission of monthly/ quarterly progress report, cost status etc Verify contractor s site measurements, bills and issue appropriate payment certificate and recording MB (Measurement Book), if required and maintenance of all records/ documents Verification & Certification of Measurement Sheet, Certification of Invoices raised by Contractor Monitor and inspect the contractor s methods of construction for permanent and temporary works, including false work, checking of centering & scaffolding, reinforcement and supervision of concrete & other civil work, as well as materials and equipment installation, workmanship and other site operations in regard of compliance with the requirements of the specification, the applicable standards and the manufacturer s recommendations, with all due attention being given to adherence to safety codes, labor laws, either laws, bye-laws and regulations and avoidance of public nuisance Record the work measurement and certify the contractor s bill The Field Engineer shall record all the measurement of work However, 100% measurement of hidden items shall be verified by the Site/ Municipal Engineer In addition, Consultant shall also assist the employer in verification of measurement by the engineer of the ULB/ State
