Job Description Execution of Routine / Preventive / Breakdown maintenance of equipment. Routine inspections on equipment and corrective actions thereafter. Good knowledge/experience in industrial automation, working of PLC & Motor drives (Siemens) Attend breakdowns and fault diagnosis and correction on equipment. Reporting of jobs after completion. Undertake any specific task / responsibility assigned by SICs (Asst. Manager / Sr. Executives). Assist the Asst. Manager/Sr. Executive in managing the shift when required. Ensure that the company health, safety & environment policy and procedures are observed. Report on any unsafe conditions in the Terminal or area of work. Contribute to the continuous improvement process and to the meeting of relevant objectives and targets. Observe the provisions of IGT’s management system. Housekeeping in workplace/Equipment In the absence of Asst. Manager/Sr. Executive, take the responsibility of shift when informed by higher authorities. Ensure, recording of the jobs, manpower and equipment status in the shift logbook. Verify job reports submitted by the shift staff. Ensure compliance and implement: OH&S Rules and Regulations. Hazard and Risk Management Accident Reports IGT’s Standard Operating Procedures. Work permits. Limits of authority Qualifications & Competencies BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Diploma in Electrical with relevant experience in Container Terminal/Heavy Industries Limits of authority. In case of BE/B.Tech, at least 5 years relevant experience in heavy lift equipment / container handling equipment, in case of Diploma holders, at least 7 years of relevant experience.

Job Description Key responsibilities Play a role in developing safe work culture that embraces zero harm through health, safety and environmental awareness. To carry out Tool talk, conducting Mock Drills, Safety Campaigns etc. To co-ordinate with the Security Supervisor to make sure the terminal is safe and secure. To effectively implement safety breach management systems. Plan and conduct awareness programs and activities during the Safety and Environment day and maintain the Safety employee of month / year award scheme To discharge the day to day activities as assigned by the superior. To give induction training whenever required. Co ordinate with CLMS for implementation of 100 % PPE compliance for contractors. To co-ordinate with the Shift Superintendent to remove all the unauthorized vehicles inside. To report all the near misses/hazard etc. To investigate accidents in his shift. Qualifications & Competencies Degree or Diploma preferably in any engineering discipline from a recognized university Degree/Diploma or above in Industrial safety from a recognized university/institute Certificate in NEBOSH course ( desirable) Good Communication skills in English language, both oral and written. Knowledge of conducting tool talk, mock drill and campaign. Knowledge of computer skills.
