Job Title: Production Supervisor Location: Agra Salary: ₹25,000 - ₹30,000/month Job Overview: We are seeking a Production Supervisor for our dairy and pharmaceutical production facility in Agra. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, and ensuring timely and efficient production of quality products. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor the daily manufacturing operations of dairy and pharmaceutical products, ensuring smooth production workflows. Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as FSSAI, HACCP, and GMP across all production and packaging processes. Oversee the storing, packaging, and handling of products to maintain quality, safety, and extend shelf-life. Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) and Maintenance teams to resolve any issues affecting production. Maintain accurate records of production logs, batch processing, cleaning-in-place (CIP) procedures, and sanitation practices. Minimize product wastage and losses by ensuring that production processes are efficient and effective. Ensure raw material availability and optimize resource usage throughout the production cycle. Train and mentor production staff on equipment handling, hygiene practices, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Respond to equipment breakdowns promptly and initiate corrective actions as required. Conduct regular inspections of production areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. Job Requirements: In-depth knowledge of dairy processing techniques and the handling of pharmaceutical products. Understanding of food-grade production environments and related hygiene standards. Strong attention to detail in documentation, process monitoring, and reporting. Ability to manage shift schedules and resolve on-floor production issues effectively and quickly. Familiarity with sanitation and hygiene practices in food production and pharmaceutical environments. Preferred Qualifications: 2–5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment, particularly in dairy or food processing. Certification in HACCP , FSSAI Food Safety Supervisor Training , or ISO 22000 will be an added advantage. Experience in industries such as automotive , electronics , FMCG , or pharmaceuticals will be a plus. Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Pharmacy , Chemistry , or a related scientific discipline. Key Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel for record-keeping and analysis. Excellent team leadership and staff management abilities. Strong time management , punctuality , and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate across different departments and teams.
