Role & responsibilities Lead the planning, design, implementation, and support of SAP infrastructure including on-premise and cloud-based environments (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP HCM, etc.) Manage infrastructure for production, development, and test environments ensuring system integrity, high availability, and disaster recovery. Collaborate with application teams to ensure optimal SAP performance and integration with business systems. Oversee infrastructure projects related to upgrades, patching, migrations, system refreshes, and capacity planning. Define and implement security policies, compliance measures, and data governance for SAP landscapes. Partner with vendors and service providers to ensure SLA adherence and cost-effective solutions. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues in SAP Basis, OS, DB, and network layers. Lead a team of IT infrastructure professionals across both Ludhiana and Budhni locations. Ensure IT infrastructure aligns with business goals and supports scalability, cybersecurity, and sustainability initiatives. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 12+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure management with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing SAP infrastructure. Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Basis administration, and infrastructure lifecycle management. Strong understanding of data center operations, networking, server virtualization, storage, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP preferred). Key Skills & Competencies: Deep technical understanding of SAP infrastructure architecture and related technologies. Project management, budgeting, and vendor management capabilities. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
