This involves discerning the urgency and importance of matters and redirecting them appropriately or handling them yourself when possible. Master of the Schedule: You will have complete ownership of the MD's calendar, scheduling internal and external meetings, appointments, and conferences. This requires meticulous planning to optimize the MD's time and ensure they are well-prepared for every engagement. Inbox and Correspondence Management: You will be responsible for managing the MD's email and other correspondence, often drafting responses on their behalf. This requires a strong command of professional communication and an understanding of the company's voice and policies. Meeting Facilitator: You will prepare for and follow up on meetings. This includes compiling and distributing agendas and relevant documents, taking accurate minutes, and tracking action items to ensure timely completion. In a pharmaceutical setting, this could involve highly confidential meetings regarding clinical trials, product launches, or regulatory audits.
