Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Generation

• Acquire new customers through direct outreach (cold calls, emails, in-person visits).
  
• Meet or exceed sales targets through effective pipeline management.
  
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing customers.
  

Market & Customer Research

• Analyze customer needs, preferences, and buying behavior.
  
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  
• Segment the market to target high-potential customer groups.
  

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
  
• Act as a point of contact for direct customers, handling queries and resolving issues promptly.
  
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  

Lead Generation & Pipeline Management

• Develop and execute strategies for lead generation through direct channels (online, events, referrals, etc.).
  
• Qualify leads and manage them through the sales funnel.
  
• Maintain an updated CRM with all interactions and progress.
  

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to align offerings with customer needs.
  
• Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management.
  
• Share market feedback to help improve products, services, and messaging.
  

Proposal & Negotiation

• Prepare and present customized proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
  
• Lead contract negotiations and close deals in alignment with company policy.
  

Strategic Planning

• Contribute to the development of business strategies for direct channels.
  
• Identify growth opportunities in untapped markets or customer segments.
  
• Plan and execute customer acquisition campaigns.
  

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all sales processes comply with legal, ethical, and company standards.
  
• Maintain proper documentation for all client interactions and agreements.
