Strong understanding of Murex platform and MX architecture, including configuration and administration (MX Admin), MxML integrations, and common MX modules such as Cash, Rates, FX, Securities, Derivatives, Liquidity Management, Market Data, Accounting, and Risk. Hands-on expertise with Unix/Linux (RHEL/CentOS 7/8), SQL and Oracle DB (11g/12c/19c). Experience with Oracle performance tuning and PL/SQL is a plus. Scripting knowledge in Shell (bash), Python 3.x, or Perl for automation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with CI/CD and release tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins (LTS), Git/SVN, JIRA, and configuration management tools (Ansible or similar). Experience managing Murex upgrades, patching processes, hotfix deployment, and release/version control in production and pre-production environments. Experience with Murex administration and integration components (MX Admin, MxML, connectivity frameworks) and familiarity with MX batch and job orchestration. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills with practical experience using Murex logs, traces, Unix tools, and database diagnostics.
