You will probably spend part of your days on the design and arrangement of scalable, highly attainable, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. You ll identify the lift and shift of an existing on-premises application to AWS. Along with this, you ll have to decipher the ingress and egress of data to and from AWS. You might also be called on to provide guidance on issues such as performance, cost, disaster recovery or security concerns. Building tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system resources in an AWS/GCP/Azure environment. Must have in depth AWS development experience (Containerization - Docker, Amazon EKS, Lambda, EC2, S3,Amazon Document DB, PostgreSQL) Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline (GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory) Experience with core AWS platform architecture, including areas such as: Organizations, Account Design, VPC, Subnet, segmentation strategies. Backup and Disaster Recovery approach and design. CloudFormation and third-party automation approach/strategy. Network connectivity, Direct Connect and VPN. AWS/GCP/Azure Cost Management and Optimization. Public cloud automaton tooling and scripting experience - CFn, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins. Familiar with Encryption, Logging, and Privacy/Security Protocols (e.g., TLS 1.2, ELK stack) Lead on infrastructure documentation and diagrams are key areas of the role and require a detailed oriented person Lead on vendor evaluations and vendor proof of concept (PoC) testing. Vendor relations, road map, product life cycles, critical production support. Position Requirements: BTech in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is desirable 8-12Years working in AWS solution architect. Technical knowledge of current virtualization software, tools, protocols and standards, including VMware and Red Hat. Hands on experience in Public, Private and hybrid cloud technologies - AWS, Azure, Google, OpenStack Handson experience with network technologies, topologies, IP addressing, V-LANs, Firewalls, etc. Technical planning and organizing are two of your core competencies. Ability to see the big picture and to focus on the important details in a pragmatic and result oriented way with ability to challenge when needed. Proven and documented leadership skills with excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture concepts and methodologies highly desirable. Proficient with MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, etc.
