Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement Enterprise Data Warehouses, ETL pipelines, and real-time/batch data exchange processes.
• Migrate data and reporting structures from on-premise platforms (e.g., Cognos) to Azure Synapse or similar cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with support teams to address ServiceNow tickets and provide prompt issue resolution.
• Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot ETL workflows; provide on-call support for production environments.
• Work with structured and semi-structured data, transforming and converting it into actionable datasets.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Cognos.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and translate technical solutions into business-friendly language.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of designs, data flows, and technical processes.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience supporting 2 or more ETL/DWH tools (Wherescape RED, Data Manager, DataStage, Spark, etc.)
• 4+ years of experience designing cloud or on-premise data warehouse and data models
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of Azure Synapse, SQL Server, or Azure Data Lake
• Experience working with IBM Cognos and Power BI for enterprise reporting
• Familiarity with data governance, security policies, and compliance frameworks
• Ability to support service tickets, monitor pipelines, and provide proactive performance tuning
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused and problem-solving mindset
• Must have (or be eligible for) Controlled Goods or Government Security Clearance
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP data services
• Exposure to metadata-driven data models or data governance frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD tools for data pipeline deployment
