Growing together Primary Responsibilities Design and develop Linux infrastructure and also Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure Ability to build and monitor services on production servers Create and configure CI pipeline supporting Continuous Delivery Create and configure Configuration Management Using Ansible Administer Windows and Linux Servers including configuration, patching and ensure overall server health Analyze all aspects of existing application infrastructure and recommend modifications that will enhance application reliability, availability and scalability Performance analysis using APM and other monitoring tools to identify system performance issues and bottlenecks Work with log aggregation tools like Splunk and ELK Analyze dump files and error codes Provide Root Cause Analysis, Troubleshoot, research and analyse complex problems Provide Support in for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Candidate will be involved in solving moderately complex problems and/or conduct moderately complex analysis Candidate will identify / quantify scope and impact of business changes on systems Participate in on - call rotation maintaining application availability Other responsibilities as determined necessary Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so Required Qualifications Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience supporting, configuring and engineering applications 3+ years of Experience with app and web server configuration and maintenance (JBoss, WebSphere, Apache Tomcat) 2+ years of Linux / UNIX System Administration experience Hands-on experience with Ansible and Chef for configuration management Expertise in identifying and mitigating infrastructure security vulnerabilities Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure problems in an enterprise environment Ability to communicate analysis including trends and opportunities to improve service availability Tools / tech expertise: Linux Admin/ Windows Admin Middleware AdminJBoss CI / CDGitHub Actions, Jenkins and Ansible MonitoringSplunk / Dynatrace / New Relic At UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
