Payment Technical Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of

  enterprise payment systems

  across non-card domains including

  SWIFT, RTP, ISO20022

  .
• Define integration strategies for payment engines with both

  legacy

  and

  modern digital platforms

  .
• Architect scalable

  microservices-based solutions

  , APIs, and event-driven components for payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with global financial messaging standards such as

  SWIFT MT/MX

  and

  ISO20022 XML

  .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale

  payment transformation programs

  .
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement

  COTS payment products

  (e.g., GPP, OPF, MTS, Dovetail, VolPay).
• Provide

  technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship

  to development and engineering teams.
• Drive

  architecture governance

  , documentation standards, and best practices across projects.
• Work closely with business and technology teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture vision.
• Contribute to solutioning efforts in RFPs, proposals, and new digital payment initiatives.

• Experience working with middleware, ESB, SOA, and integration platform.
• Practical expertise in

  cloud platforms

  (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native design patterns.
• Strong skills in

  application architecture

• Knowledge of

  DevOps

  , CI/CD pipelines, and modern engineering practice
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Preferably certified in
