About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in developing scalable, high-performance web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience across the full software development life cycle — from design and development to deployment and maintenance.

This role is hybrid, offering the flexibility to work remotely while being part of an agile and collaborative team in Chennai.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions.

• Implement RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable, secure backend systems.

• Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best coding practices.

• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java full-stack development.

• Strong proficiency in:

• Backend: Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture.

• Frontend: Angular (preferred) or React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript.

• Database: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

• Version Control: Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.

• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Solid understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and data structures.

• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and build tools like Maven or Gradle.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Cloud or Kubernetes.

• Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.

• Experience working in a product-based or startup environment is a plus.
