Work with business analysts and product owners to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities. Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with banking industry regulations and standards. Maintain detailed technical documentation. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in Java development, preferably in the banking or financial services domain. Proficient in Java 8+ , Spring/Spring Boot , Hibernate , and RESTful APIs . Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle , PostgreSQL , or MySQL . Strong understanding of banking processes like payments, loans, core banking systems, or risk and compliance. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Maven/Gradle. Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar is a plus. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an advantage. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
