You will be part of a talented software team working on critical product-based applications. The role involves managing Java/Java EE application development and contributing expertise throughout the full software development lifecycle—from solution design to containerized delivery.Your future duties and responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient code in Java and XML using IDEs.
• Perform unit and integration testing of developed code.
• Independently develop and integrate small to medium complexity software epics and stories.
• Adhere to standard coding practices and processes.
• Use tools such as GitLab/Bitbucket to commit code, track changes, and manage releases.
• Design and implement programs for new projects, enhancements, or defect fixes.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Apply strong analytical and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and other collaboration tools is an advantage.
  

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven hands-on software development experience.
• Strong working experience in Java development.
• Hands-on expertise in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, including common design patterns.
  

Technical Skills

• Core Java / J2EE
• HTML
• PL/SQL
• Profound insight into Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction Management, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies
• Experience as a Sun Certified Java Developer (preferred)
• Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD)
