Job Title: Litigation Officer.Department: Legal.Job Summary:.Jain Group is looking for an experienced Litigation Officer to handle legal disputes and litigation matters within the Real Estate and Hospitality sectors.The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in litigation, with a strong background in legal research, case management, and court procedures.Key Responsibilities:.Case Management:.Legal Representation: Represent the company in legal proceedings, including court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.Case Preparation: Prepare legal briefs, pleadings, and other court documents.Conduct thorough legal research and gather evidence to support cases.Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.Coordination with External Counsel:.Collaboration: Work closely with external legal counsel on complex litigation matters.Provide necessary information and support to facilitate effective representation.Cost Management: Manage legal costs and ensure efficient use of resources.Negotiate fees and manage billing with external counsel.Compliance & Risk Management:.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor legal developments and advise the management team on potential impacts.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate legal risks.
- Develop policies and procedures to enhance compliance.
Reporting & Documentation:.
- Case Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all litigation matters, including case files, court documents, and correspondence.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the status of litigation matters for senior management.
- Provide insights and recommendations for legal strategies.
Required Qualifications:.
- Educational Background: Degree in law or Working experience of over 5 years.
- Admission to the bar is preferred.
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in litigation, preferably in the real estate or hospitality sectors.
