Job Description

Role Overview:

ITOM & ServiceNow Automation Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and implement automation workflows using
ServiceNow ITOM
modules:

Discovery
Service Mapping
Event Management
Orchestration

Deploy and optimize
Now Assist
capabilities to enable intelligent automation, predictive insights, and enhanced user experiences.
Utilize
Performance Insights (PI)
to monitor and improve service performance and operational KPIs.
Automate ITSM processes across incident, change, problem, and asset management within ServiceNow.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and define solution requirements.
Develop and maintain scripts, flows, and orchestration logic to support self-service and self-healing capabilities.
Ensure alignment with
ITIL best practices
and enterprise governance standards.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior consultants and developers.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with
ServiceNow ITOM
, including Discovery, Event Management, and Service Mapping.
Proven experience implementing and managing
Now Assist
features and intelligent automation workflows.
Strong understanding of
Performance Insights (PI)
and its application in service monitoring and reporting.
Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell) and ServiceNow Flow Designer.
Deep knowledge of
ITIL processes
and service management frameworks.
Experience designing scalable, maintainable, and secure automation solutions.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ITOM Implementation Specialist, Now Assist) are highly desirable.
