Job Description

Role Overview: As an IT Support Intern, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and software. Your responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: - Assisting in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, workstations, and software. - Supporting in managing user accounts, permissions, and access control using Active Directory. - Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and network. - Assisting with regular backups, system updates, and antivirus management. - Documenting system configurations, processes, and updates. - Providing first-level technical support to employees (in-person or remote). - Supporting network administration tasks such as configuring routers, switches, and firewalls. - Participating in IT security and data protection initiatives. - Assisting in onboarding/offboarding processes, including setting up devices and accounts. Qualifications Required: - Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems. - Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). - Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting techniques. - Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Good communication and interpersonal skills.,
