IT Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level IT support to users across hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Assist in SAP-related support requests (basic troubleshooting, user access, and navigation support).
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in IT systems and SAP.
• Escalate complex SAP issues to relevant functional/technical teams while ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor IT systems’ performance and proactively address potential issues.
• Coordinate with vendors and IT teams for hardware/software maintenance and upgrades.
• Document support issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support in system rollouts, updates, and IT infrastructure changes.
• Train and guide end-users on basic IT processes and SAP usage.
• Ensure compliance with company IT security policies and data protection practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience: 1 year in IT support/helpdesk role with exposure to SAP (ECC/S4 HANA preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of SAP (basic navigation, transaction handling, user queries).
• Understanding of Windows OS, MS Office Suite, and networking fundamentals.
• Troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, printers, and software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills to interact with end-users and technical teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• SAP certification or training in any module (MM, SD, FI, or HR).
• Basic understanding of Active Directory, LAN/WAN, and IT ticketing tools.
• Experience in coordinating with SAP functional/technical consultants.
