As an IT Sales Associate, you will be the front line of our business, connecting with potential clients to understand their challenges and demonstrating how our solutions can solve them. Key Responsibilities
· Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels including LinkedIn, industry events, cold calling, and email campaigns.
· Needs Analysis: Conduct discovery calls and meetings to deeply understand prospective clients' business needs, technical environment, and pain points.
· Solution Presentation: Articulate the value proposition of our products and services through compelling presentations, demos, and proposals.
· Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, accurately tracking all activities and opportunities.
· Relationship Building: Build strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., IT Managers, CTOs, Business Owners) throughout the sales cycle.
· Collaboration: Work closely with technical pre-sales engineers and marketing teams to develop tailored solutions and close complex deals.
· Market Intelligence: Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to effectively position our offerings.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications)
Required:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
· 0-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role. (A passion for technology and sales is more important than direct experience!)
· excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
· Strong desire to learn about technology and the IT services market.
· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient with a competitive spirit.
· Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves):
· Previous internship or experience in a B2B sales or technology environment.
· Familiarity with MS office and basic computing tools
· Basic understanding of core IT concepts (e.g., cloud computing, networking, cybersecurity).
