Role & responsibilities

Senior IT Recruiter

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end recruitment for IT positions (permanent, contract, and contract-to-hire roles).
Understand job requirements, create compelling job descriptions, and post across multiple platforms.
Source candidates through various channels including job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Monster, etc.), social media, employee referrals, and networking.
Conduct initial screenings, technical assessments coordination, and candidate evaluations.
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT professionals.
Negotiate offers and close candidates in coordination with HR and compensation teams.
Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders on hiring progress and challenges.

Key Skills & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT, or a related field.
5–7 years of experience in IT recruitment, preferably in an agency or high-growth tech environment.
Strong understanding of IT roles & technologies (e.g., Java, Python, DevOps, Cloud, Full-stack, Data Engineering, QA, etc.).
Proficiency in using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and ATS platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
